The time for action is now – Palestinian lives hang in the balance.
This urgent, genocidal situation can only be prevented by a mass increase of global solidarity with the people of Palestine and that can restrain the Israeli war machine.
Who we are
Steelworkers United for Palestine is a group of rank-and-file members of the United Steelworkers (USW) organizing in solidarity with Palestine.
What we’re fighting for
Steelworkers United for Palestine advocates within our union and our broader communities for human rights and justice in Palestine. We work to build a strong movement of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
How we’ll get there
- Political education. Educating our fellow members on the root causes, history, and current realities of the violence in Palestine—and why this is a labor issue.
- Organizing. Organizing our fellow Steelworkers to take action to stop the genocide. Using our power in numbers as union members to apply pressure to end arms sales to Israel.
- Solidarity work. Supporting local, national, and international campaigns aligned with our mission, including the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement
